Minneapolis, MN (September 7, 2009) – The Minnesota Transracial Film Festival is the first festival in the Twin Cities to showcase transracial and transcultural voices from the adoption community. It will be held on November 14th, 2009 at the Oak Street Cinema.
The MNTRFF program schedule includes Adopted The Movie, Tie A Yellow Ribbon, Running Dragon, Jagadamba, Thành Phố Hồ Chí Minh: Saigon, and Homeschool (other films pending) and in addition will also feature readings from local artists Sun Yung Shin and Bryan Thao Worra, as well as music by singer/songwriter Mayda.
Tickets for the MNTRFF go on sale September 21st, 2009.
